Beaumont is holding the 11
th annual Relay for Life on May 3
rd. The opening ceremony of this 24-hour relay starts at 9 am at the Beaumont Sports Park. Relay for Life is a fundraiser that celebrates those who have survived cancer, remember those we have lost to cancer, and fight back against the disease. Cancer survivors and their caregivers take the first lap of the relay. The day is spent honoring survivors with gifts, meals, and special events. There is a kid's camp that has games, food, and crafts to keep them entertained all day. There will be plenty of entertainment, food, and fun to keep participants going through the 24 hours. The fundraising also continues throughout the entire event. Survivors, caregivers, friends, and family are welcome to join the festivities, or to donate to the cause.
The Banning Stagecoach Days are coming back to Banning September 5
th through the 7
th. The Stagecoach Days Association is bringing back the Ranch Rodeo and expanding it to Saturday and Sunday this year. There is also a new and improved carnival area provided by Christianson Amusements. There will be thrill rides, midway games, and a Ferris wheel to keep people of all ages entertained. There will be plenty of food and beverages to satisfy any appetite. Make sure to bring your camera to take pictures as you ride along in the old west stagecoach provided by G&F Carriages. There will be live entertainment Saturday night, so make sure to wear your dancing shoes.
