Save the Date: Disaster Survival Expo
The City of Banning will be hosting the Annual Disaster Survival Expo on Saturday, April 4, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place at Banning Community Centre (789 N San Gorgonio Ave.).
The event provides residents with information on what to do before, during, and after a disaster. This event will highlight the need to prepare for all types of disasters. The expo will be a good opportunity for citizens, homeowners, and businesses to be reminded of how to create or update a disaster preparedness plan and kit for their property and vehicles.
There will be many informative booths, fun activities, raffles, giveaways, and the option to purchase emergency preparedness items for yourself and your family. Attendees will have the opportunity to develop disaster plans for their families and neighborhoods and learn what it takes to be able to survive a large-scale disaster.
