Tips For Celebrating President's Day 2015
Each year on the third Monday of February, we celebrate President's Day! This celebratory holiday honors our first president, George Washington and all of his successors. In the past, we celebrated President's Day on Washington's Birthday, the 22
nd of February, however, the holiday was changed to the third Monday of February in the 1970s to give workers a three day weekend. This holiday was first celebrated in 1880 and is now recognized as a federal holiday.
Celebrating President's Day 2015 is fun and simple and is a great way to spend your three day weekend! Gathered are just a few ways in which you can celebrate this honorary day:
