123 Farm has been a working farm since 1853. Enjoy their bounty at the 12th Annual Lavender Festival!
During the end of the 19
th century, Highland Springs Resort served as a stagecoach stop, providing freshly-prepared meals to weary travelers 24 hours a day. Peaches, cherries, almonds, apricots, beets, alfalfa, and squash were grown in abundance without the use of any pesticides or artificial fertilizers. Unfortunately, most farms of present have lost their focus on growing food for quality and have gone for profit.
The staff at 123 Farm, located on the grounds of the Resort, works under standards stricter than any government regulation, minimizing the use of chemicals over their entire property. And they're holding an upcoming event where you can see the fruits of their labors! Don't miss the 12th Annual Lavender Festival.

Lavender Walk. Feel free to wander around the 20 acres of the organic lavender fields. Their sample garden grows over 90 varieties of lavender€”can you spot them all? They primarily grow three different types of lavender that they use in aromatherapy products, for cooking, and in floral arrangements. Remember to bring your camera and take as many pictures as you'd like! Just please do not pick any of the lavender.
